Introduction
The latest Gaza aid trucks mission led by Global Hayat has successfully delivered 11 trucks of essential supplies into Gaza, marking a crucial breakthrough for humanitarian efforts as the region prepares for Ramadan and the harsh winter season.
11 Gaza Aid Trucks Deliver RM2.8 Million in Essential Supplies
A total of 11 humanitarian aid trucks under The Rightful Gift campaign entered Gaza on 19 November, carrying:
- 5,400 boxes of basic food supplies
- 100 tonnes of wheat
- Total value: RM2.8 million
These supplies are currently being distributed across North Gaza and Gaza City, reaching families most affected by the ongoing crisis.
New Land Route to Rafah Opens for Humanitarian Access
Campaign Director Muhd Farhan Muhd Fadhil confirmed that this successful entry of aid trucks signals a critical reopening of land access through the Rafah corridor.
“Despite the ceasefire, Gaza remains in a severe humanitarian emergency. Infrastructure such as hospitals, schools and mosques has collapsed, leaving residents without food, clean water and medical supplies,” he said.
Pending further clearance, Global Hayat aims to expand its aid to include:
- winter shelters
- non-food essentials
- hygiene kits
- Ramadan support packages
80,000 Gazans Reached in Previous Distribution
Just last month, the same campaign distributed RM1.6 million worth of aid, including:
- ready-to-eat meals
- bread
- medical supplies
- baby essentials
- clothing & blankets
- firewood
- tents for displaced families
This distribution reached nearly 80,000 people in Gaza.
To strengthen logistics, Global Hayat has established a dedicated warehouse inside Gaza for more organised processing and distribution.
RM10 Million Needed to Send 50 Gaza Aid Trucks Before Ramadan
Farhan reiterated that the 11 delivered trucks represent only the beginning.
Mission Goals:
- 50 aid trucks in the first phase
- Deadline: end of March (before Ramadan & winter)
- Funding required: RM10 million
Currently, the aid delivered represents just 4% of Gaza’s 2 million population.
