Global Hayat–Malaysia carried out the Canned Qurban Meat Distribution Project in Northern Gaza, targeting families most affected by war and destruction. Each of the 350 families received an average of 3 cans of preserved Qurban meat, with each can weighing 340 grams.
This initiative was implemented in light of the harsh living conditions in Gaza:
- Many families are homeless, with no safe shelter.
- There is no access to electricity or refrigerators to store fresh food.
- The canned meat can be preserved safely for 2 to 5 years and is suitable for immediate consumption or quick heating.
- It provides high-quality protein and iron, which are crucial in times of food shortages and famine.
This project was designed not only to sustain life but also to restore dignity to the families of Gaza during this prolonged crisis.
